You’ve heard of the runDisney events like Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend, & more, but have you heard of the “Beignet Dash” Fun Run?
This weekly event may be the beginning of your Disney racing experience! Each and every Sunday (weather permitting, of course), Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter holds the “Beignet Dash” for anyone who’d like to participate. The cost is $15 and you register on the morning of the run. Here are the details:
- Check in time is at 7:30 am on the Riverwalk between Building 5 and Doubloon Lagoon Pool
- The race starts at 8am.
- It is a 1.5 mile fun run (or walk!)
- Registration includes a race bib, a “Beignet Dash” button, a participation “medal,” and 3 beignets to enjoy at the end of the run!
Now, if you’re not up for a run, those beignets can always be purchased at Port Orleans French Quarter as well!
